The ADDIE Model (Spec Spot)

This project is a job aid for instructional designers that can be easily printed and used as a reference at a personal workstation. When I was new to instructional design, my mentors and peers continually emphasized the importance of asking yourself why you are developing training, who it is for, and what you are trying to accomplish. Otherwise, you lose sight of the scope of the learning you’re developing or create ineffective training that doesn’t truly help your learners.
Using my prior experience, I designed the job aid with the following considerations:
The copy should be phrased as critical internal questions a designer should ask themselves at each step
The layout should be circular to imply that Evaluate goes back into the first step, Analyze
The colours should be bright (yet professional) to stand out in someone’s workplace
Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator
